Join Arts and Humanities teachers, Zoe Keystone and Jordan Rozanski, registered with the Victorian Institute of Teachers (VIT), at Carlton Neighbourhood Learning Centre, for the next Creative Studio holiday workshop.

• ‘Picture Books for Clever Chooks’ (designed for 7-11 yrs)

• ‘Zines for Teens’ (designed for 12-16 yrs)

At ‘Picture Books for Clever Chooks', participants get to draw animals, plants and / or minerals, inspired from watercolour patterns. These drawings could also later be used to build a narrative! Let’s explore how to make a picture book by building a story together.

When it comes to ‘Zines for Teens’, we investigate what matters and why through the power of art and publishing. Crafting ways to make a compelling statement, we develop mixed-media pieces that embrace the diversity of young voices in our local community. Together, we explore ways to effectively publish and distribute mindful media for a positive impact.
