Join Arts and Humanities teachers, Zoe Keystone and Jordan Rozanski, registered with the Victorian Institute of Teachers (VIT), at Carlton Neighbourhood Learning Centre, for the next Creative Studio holiday workshop Friday 27 September 2024.

• ‘Picture Books for Clever Chooks’ (designed for 7-11 yrs) 10:00am - 12:30pm

• ‘Zeens for Teens’ (designed for 12-16 yrs) 2:00pm - 4:30pm

At ‘Picture Books for Clever Chooks', participants get to draw animals, plants and / or minerals, inspired from watercolour patterns. These drawings could also later be used to build a narrative! Let’s explore how to make a picture book by building a story together.

When it comes to ‘Zines for Teens’, we investigate what matters and why through the power of art and publishing. Crafting ways to make a compelling statement, we develop mixed-media pieces that embrace the diversity of young voices in our local community. Together, we explore ways to effectively publish and distribute mindful media for a positive impact.
